The SoHa Arts Building hosts a community of artisans, creatives and makers. The two story building houses painters, chefs, photographers, makeup artists, potters, jewelers, engineers, physical trainers, robotocists, florists, speakers, business professionals, event planners, and sculptors among the varied types of residents. Our mission is to foster the creativity and growth of creative minds in South Jersey as well as laying the foundation for the SoHa Improvement District of Haddon Township as an arts destination. The overall goal is to incubate entrepreneurs and makers to create a community which can collaborate, nurture and inspire.
The building is 14,000 sq. ft of stunning, useable space comprised of amazing lighting, vintage hardwood and cement floors, 13 foot ceilings and surrounded by glass which compliments the vision set forth to create a grand art destination in New Jersey.
Beautiful Maker Space is available with each studio unique from the rest. Renovations completed in 2013 and include all new construction while maintaining many original building accents. Amenities include all utilities, wifi, shared kitchens, central HVAC, bathrooms, meeting room, VOC room, plentiful gallery space, prime teaching area, deep sink wash rooms, 24 hr security, plentiful free parking, on site management, business marketing and event planning and much more.

SoHa Arts Building is growing to fill the void where schools and the economy have left off due to cut-backs, budget concerns, or lack of resources and to help people expand their knowledge. invent and help shape the world.
Makerspaces share some aspects of shop class, home economics, the art studio, business class and science labs. In effect, a makerspace is a physical mashup of these different places that allows projects to integrate these different skillsets.
